Hello everyone! I'm a new face (name? O.o) on DA. My name's Laura and I live in Australia and I'm a anime and yaoi fangirl. Bet everybody is running for cover now, huh? And I'm currently obsessing over Ouran High School Host Club (Tamaki is the best thing since sliced bread), because I finally got the second half of the series on DVD. Man, I remember getting in my grandmother’s car two years ago to go home from school and I practically deafened the poor woman after discovering the Ouran announcement panel on Youtube.

“GUESS WHAT THEY’RE DUBBING!”
…Yeah. God bless my family. They put up with so much. -_-
I’m also rediscovering Yu-Gi-Oh! (after a 7 year obsession with it and an 8 month break from it) and Gravitation (I bought a Kumagoro plushie and suddenly remembered how AWESOME Ryuichi Sakuma is. Only 31 year old bishie who could EVER look that cute. ^-^).

Why am I writing a journal, anyway? Not like anyone will read it. I guess the only thing I really want to say is that even though my artwork isn't the best out there (see Kaoru-chan for that), it's stuff I can share that might make somebody happy. It at least gives anyone reading my fanfiction an idea of the kind of view I have of the characters.

On another note, thanks SO MUCH to Jessie04104-senpai for helping me set up this journal (because I'm a total failure regarding technology). We met at my first convention and saw the wonderful Vic Mignogna (fangirl squeal). Now I finally have someone to have long phone convos about anime with. ^-^ Our record is close to 6 hours, I think… O.o Wow. She’s awesome, and I have no doubt that one day she’ll be one of the best voice actors out there.

Hmm… what else? Well, I’m working on an FST or fanmix, or whatever you call them, for my ‘1st Labyrinth’ fanfic (since it’s eaten my brain up lately anyway *rolls eyes*).
